8日目(Ⅰ)
昨日は みんなが待ち望んでいた 強い魁皇でした! !
前々日(記者の人たちも仕事とは云え、かなり傍から離れてくれなかったこともあり) 進退について
話をしなければならない状況にあり、概にご存知の事となった。。
もちろん、「負け越し・・」との決意を公表してもいいのかと魁皇に聞きました。
「話してください」との返事。 これが魁皇流・・。
関係者を含め「そこまで公表することはないのではないか」「落ちてもひと場所の権利を使えば」
といってもらいました。 ありがたいことです。。
ここまでの 魁皇を 充分に評価してくださっている結果と 嬉しいです。
昨日は、やっと自分の相撲にこだわって結果を出せた。。
まだまだ、決して楽ではない。 でも、これが、魁皇なんです。
これからも、精一杯やってくれると思います。 皆様のアツい想いに応えて欲しい。。
今日８日目も勝ちました ! ! そして五分にしました。。

I find all the photos on the web (via yahoo... via others sumo fans who help me to find all the pitcures). Each time I find a new picture of Kaio I download it on my web site...
You know In Europe and USA there is many people who like Sumo . Of course it's not as popular as Soccer ... but I prefer watching Sumo than Soccer !!!
And in France our president (Mr. Chirac) is very famous to adore watching Sumo.

ヨーロッパやアメリカにはたくさんの相撲ファンがいます。
もちろん、サッカーほどポピュラーじゃないけれど、私は、サッカーより相撲が好きです！
そして、フランスでは、フランスの大統領・・シャラク大統領・・が大の相撲好きということは有名です。

I'm french. I'm born in 1972 in Paris. I'm a single. The first time I watch Sumo was in 1995 when all the rikishi came in Paris for an exhibition for 3 days (Kaio was already a sekiwake in Paris but lost the first two days on the first fight and on the third day he lost against Akebono .. so I'm sure that Kaio was not very proud of his performance in Paris in 1995 :-) lol)
私は、１９７２年にパリで生まれました。独身です。初めて相撲をみたのは1995年に3日間行われた、
パリ巡業のときです。・・・魁皇はそのとき既に関脇でしたが、初日、二日目も1回戦で敗れ、三日目は
曙に敗れたので、魁皇はその1995年のパリ巡業をあまり好ましく思っていないと思います。（笑）
Since 1998 I'm a very proud fan of Kaio... He was Sekiwake at this moment... and I was very happy each time he could win against an Ozeki and a Yokozuna (like Takanohana, Wakanohana, Akebono...)
In 2000, Kaio was elected Ozeki, 4 months after his first Makuuchi Yusho... and since this moment I secretly hope he would be Yokozuna too... Now he has win 5 Yushos and It was always wonderful when he wins one... You can't imagine how happy I was in septemebr 2004 when Kaio wins the Aki basho... and very sad two months later when he lost 3 fights and with a 12-3 record was not elected Yokozuna !
But it seems that since last year, Kaio will never be the 69th Yokozuna of the Sumo history...
Kaio is 33 years old now (like me... I'm born in 1972 like Kaio) and injuries stop his goal to be the next Yokozuna.
1998年から、魁皇の大ファンになりました。そのとき彼は関脇で、大関や横綱・・貴乃花、若乃花、曙など・・を倒すたびに大喜びしたものです。2000年に魁皇は大関になり、その4ヵ月後、初優勝されました。そのときから、私は、彼は横綱になるだろうと密かに願っていました。
彼はこれまでに5回優勝しています。彼が優勝するって本当に素晴らしい。
2004年の9月場所で優勝したときの私の喜びようは貴女には想像がつかないと思います！
でも、その後、（11月場所で）3敗して12勝3敗で終わって横綱になれなかったときはとても悲しかった。 その後、魁皇はなかなか第６９代横綱にならない・・・
魁皇は今33歳・・私も彼と同じく１９７２年生まれ・・、
怪我が彼の目標である横綱になることを阻止している。
This 2006 Haru basho seems very difficult for the Ozeki. And many people said that he will be Intai this week or the next. After the win of today (against Iwakiyama), he is 3-4... I hope he will be Kashi-Koshi very soon.
I will be very sad if Kaio retire but I will always very proud of his career... and he will always be my all-time favorite rikishi. Maybe the best Ozeki of the history.
この春場所は大関にとって苦しい土俵になっているようで、多くの人々が今週か来週にも
彼が引退することを口にする。今日岩木山に勝って、3勝4敗。 でも、すぐ勝ち越すことを願っています。
魁皇が引退してしまったら、とっても悲しい、でもそれでも彼が培ってきたものを私はいつも讃えるだろう。彼は、ずっと私の一番好きなお相撲さんでいるだろう。歴史上で最高の大関だと思う。
He is very popular in Europe... and particularly in France (of course I'm the #1 fan of the Ozeki in France !). And if you can talk to the Ozeki you can said to him that every day of every basho many people from Europe encourage him...
Please send via my mail all my encouragements to the Ozeki and cheers from every Kaio fans of the world.
魁皇はヨーロッパ、特にフランスではとても人気があります・・
もちろん私がフランスで一番の魁皇ファンですけれど！・・もし貴女が大関と話すことができるなら、
「毎日、毎場所、大勢の人々がヨーロッパから彼に声援を送っている」と伝えてください。
そして大関にこのメールを通して、私の心からの応援と、世界中の魁皇ファンからの声援を
伝えてください。
If Kaio retire, he will be Asakayama Oyakata... I hope that you will continue to follow the new Oyakata in the next years ... If it's possible I would like to keep contact with the new Asakayama Oyakata when Kaio will retire...
I will very proud to send news on european and french internet forums about Kaio when he will be an Oyakata in the future.
もし、魁皇が引退したら、彼は浅香山親方になる。
私は貴女が、引き続き、ずっと新しい浅香山親方を追ってくれることを願っています。
できるなら、魁皇が引退したときは、新しい浅香山親方とコンタクトしたい。
将来、浅香山親方になったときは、ヨーロッパとフランスの魁皇のインターネットフォーラムで
情報を伝えることを誇りに思うと思う。
